Trial DAY
Welcome to Dog Den Chicago, we look forward to meeting your pup! If you’re new to daycare, boarding, or we haven’t seen you in 6 months, we require your dog to go through a Trial Day of daycare. Your dog's Trial Day acts as a sample day of daycare to assess their overall comfort during their visit.
Registration Process
Prior to having your dog visit us for a trial day, our online registration needs to be completed by clicking the customer log in tab and up to date vaccination records must be on file. Once you have created your online account, please email us at info@dogdenchicago.com. Trial Day’s can not be scheduled through the online portal. Trial days can be scheduled via email only.
We require your dog to be up to date on their Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations.

Check in/Check out Times & Our Door Policy

Check in is between the hours of 7:00am - 9:00am

For the safety of our staff and dog guests, our doors are always locked and we only allow one client in the lobby at a time. There is a doorbell outside to notify staff you’ve arrived. If someone is inside the lobby, we ask that you wait outside while giving anyone coming out of the building space.

Daily Updates
In addition to us posting daily photos to our Instagram story, you will receive a report card via email after each visit. During Daycare, our priority is enrichment activities and safety during playgroup. Not all dogs are posted daily on the stories but they are all participating equally.

Cancellation Policy
Dog Den Chicago requires 48-hour notice for all canceled or rescheduled reservations. Any reservations broken without adequate notice will be subject to a full-price fee.

Do's & Don'ts for a trial day
Do:

Bring food labeled in disposable bags with proper instructions. (not required, only needed if your dog is eating with us) → Example: Dog’s name, breakfast

Bring your dogs medication labeled with their name, dose, medication name and instructions. (not required, but please email us prior to your visit regarding your dogs medication)

Have your dog wear a standard flat collar.

Bring your dog into the facility on leash but take the leash home with you. We are not responsible for any lost leashes.

How your dog responds to other dogs and staff, being crated and rest times.
