Dog Den Chicago provides a full service dog enrichment facility. We offer Daycare, Boarding, Grooming and Training services.
At this time, we are not accepting new daycare clients. However, we are currently accepting new clients for boarding, training, and grooming.
All dogs must be current on:
Rabies
Distemper/Parvo
Bordetella
Vaccination documentation is required prior to participation.
Yes. For the health and safety of all dogs, we require:
A negative fecal test within two (2) weeks of a dog’s first visit (new dogs).
Additional fecal testing may be required at any time, especially if a dog is experiencing frequent gastrointestinal upset, diarrhea, or suspected parasite exposure.
Monday–Friday
Drop-off & Pick-up: 7:00–9:00 AM & 4:30–6:30 PM
Please drop your dog off by 9:00 AM, as group activities and training begin promptly at 9:15 AM.
Drop-offs after 9:10 AM may result in a $10 late drop-off fee.
If you need to pick up before 4:30 PM, please notify us in advance so we can prioritize your dog’s schedule.
Boarding Pick-Up (Monday–Friday)
Boarding pick-up is available until 12:00 PM with advance notice.
Without prior notice, boarding pick-up must occur by 9:00 AM.
Pick-ups after 12:00 PM will result in an additional daycare fee.
Saturday & Sunday
Drop-off & Pick-up: 7:00–9:00 AM & 3:00–5:00 PM
Pick-up and drop-off are not available between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, as this time is reserved for group activities and private training sessions.
Drop-off or pick-up during the 9:00 AM–3:00 PM window will result in an additional fee.
All pick-ups and drop-offs must occur within the designated time windows.
To ensure our weekend schedule runs smoothly, we enforce the following late pick-up policy:
Pick-ups between 5:05 PM and 5:15 PM will result in a $20 late fee.
After 5:15 PM, a $1 per minute charge will apply until 6:00 PM.
After 6:00 PM, your dog’s stay will automatically convert to boarding at the full boarding rate.
Standing Reservation Discounts
Discounts apply only with advance communication.
Without notice, standard (non-discounted) boarding rates will apply.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
To ensure the safety of our dogs and staff, we have the following late pick-up policy:
Pick-ups between 6:35 PM and 6:45 PM will result in a $20 late fee.
One courtesy call will be made prior to 6:45 PM.
After 6:45 PM, your dog’s stay will automatically be converted to boarding at the full boarding rate.

If we are notified before 6:30 PM, discounted boarding rates will apply.
Without notice, standard (non-discounted) boarding rates will apply.
Thank you for helping us maintain a smooth schedule for all dogs in our care.
To help us provide the best care and maintain consistent scheduling for all of our clients, we strictly enforce our cancellation policy.
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or schedule changes. Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours, as well as no-shows, will be charged in full.
Examples:
Thursday daycare → must cancel by 9:00 AM Tuesday
Thursday grooming at 10:00 AM → must cancel by 10:00 AM Tuesday
Peak Season Policy (November 1 – January 2)
During our busiest time of year, cancellations and changes must be made 10 days in advance due to high demand and limited availability.
If your dog is feeling unwell, we completely understand — please keep them home and notify us as soon as possible. Dogs showing signs of illness during their stay will be sent home for the health and safety of all guests.
Please provide:
Pre-portioned food labeled with feeding instructions
Any medications in original containers
We will provide our beds and/or blankets with owner approval.
