Day School is about more than teaching commands. It’s about helping your dog understand how to navigate everyday life through clear communication, structure and consistency.
Throughout the program, we work on foundational skills, leash handling, engagement, impulse control and everyday manners. Skills are practiced throughout the day and in different situations, helping your dog learn how to respond even when the environment changes.
Our goal is to build a stronger foundation between you and your dog and give you practical skills you can continue using at home.

What makes us different
Unlike a traditional training class, our immersive Day School format allows your dog to practice skills consistently throughout their day. Training is balanced with enrichment, appropriate socialization and rest, creating opportunities to apply what they’re learning in real life situations.
We keep our programs small so training can be individualized to the dog in front of us. Because lasting progress also depends on consistency at home, owner transfer lessons are built into the program so you learn how to communicate with your dog and continue their progress long after Day School ends.

Program Details
3-WEEK DAY SCHOOL PROGRAM
Monday–Friday for three consecutive weeks

Pick Up: 4:00–6:30 PM

REQUIREMENTS

Dogs must be at least 5 months old

Training evaluation and Trial Day

Current Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations

Negative fecal test completed within two weeks of the Trial Day
LIMITED ENROLLMENT
Day School is limited to 5 dogs at a time, allowing our trainer to provide individualized attention and tailor training to each dog’s needs.
A DAY AT DAY SCHOOL
7:00–9:00 AM | CHECK IN
Arrival, check-in and time to settle in for the day.
9:00 AM–4:00 PM | LEARN • PLAY • REST
Throughout the day, dogs rotate between individualized training sessions, enrichment activities, appropriate group time and structured rest. Each dog’s day is tailored to their training goals, energy level and individual needs.
12:00 PM | LUNCH
Lunch is provided for dogs who require a midday meal, followed by time to rest and reset.
4:00 PM | DINNER
Dinner is served for dogs who require an evening meal.
4:00–6:30 PM | PLAYGROUP + PICK UP
Dogs who are eligible for group play will continue rotating through playgroup until pickup. Dogs who are not participating in playgroup will continue with bathroom breaks and rest while they wait to head home.
Training is incorporated throughout the day, giving dogs multiple opportunities to learn, practice and reset while maintaining a balanced routine.
Training doesn't end at pick up
Day School builds the foundation but lasting progress comes from consistency at home. Your program includes 9 transfer lessons so owners learn how to communicate with their dog, use the skills introduced during Day School and continue progressing after the program ends.
Lessons are held Monday through Friday during morning and midday hours and are scheduled via email.
Training Evaluation
Before beginning Day School, each dog will complete a training evaluation with our trainer. This gives us the opportunity to get to know your dog, discuss your goals and determine whether Day School is the right fit.
We’ll evaluate your dog’s current skills, communication style and individual needs so we can create a training plan tailored specifically to them.
Evaluations are $25 and typically last 30–60 minutes.
